2024 Michigan library association - Kay Schwartz retired from Flint Public Library in June 2023, after 25 years with the library, the last 14 as its Executive Director. From 2015 to 2022, Kay led the library's team of staff, board and community members on a quest to transform the library into a 21st century learning center.
